Sam & Satara Nadarajan

Sam and Satara met each other in 2009 and were married at Southern Adventist University in 2013. After marriage, they moved to Michigan temporarily until they could find jobs in a warmer climate. 11 years later, they have planted roots in Okemos, MI, where they serve at the East Lansing SDA Church as an elder and children’s sabbath school leader respectively.

During the week, Sam is a consultant helping teams work better together, and Satara is a choir and band teacher working at Lansing Christian School.

Sam and Satara love traveling the world, trying new foods, being silly with their young daughter and with each other, spending time in nature, biking, going to Costco and Trader Joe’s almost every week, and reading. When times get tough they try to remember they’re on the same side and why they made a lifelong commitment in the first place.
