Michael and Melanie Quion

Michael and Melanie Quion met in Seoul, Korea during their student missionary orientation in the summer of 1988. Married for 32 years, they are grateful for the life God has blessed them with together. Having lived in California and Michigan since their time in Tokyo, they cherish the presence of their extended family in these states.

Michael is a dedicated family practice physician, while Melanie serves as a registered nurse. Together, they are the co-directors of the Health Ministry Department of the Michigan Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. Recently, they embraced the transition to empty nesters, eagerly anticipating the expansion of their family as their son Mark, a medical student at Loma Linda University, prepares to marry Jessica Ahn, MD, in December 2024. Their daughter Mayanne, a new RN graduate, is currently in the nursing residency program at Loma Linda University Health.

Passionate about service, the Quions actively participate in medical mission trips, often alongside their children. They find these experiences enriching and fulfilling. In addition to their commitment to healthcare, they cherish traveling and embarking on road trips, embracing every opportunity to explore new horizons together.
