Upcoming Events

We’re excited to invite you to be part of Project Restoration at the Niles Southside SDA Church on  Sunday, August 31 - September 7, 8:00 am—a powerful opportunity to serve together and prepare the way for the upcoming evangelistic meetings beginning the end of September.  You may only be able to come for a day or two, or maybe you are able to help the whole week... whatever your availability, you can make a difference! There's not a lot of time, and there is much to be done, but together we can have the house of God ready for the Niles Southside community to see Jesus shining through in all that is said and done.

This special week of fellowship and service is a mission to create a space where healing and hope can be poured out in Jesus’ name. We’ll be restoring the church by beautifying the exterior  by replacing siding and roofing as well as installing new windows. Landscaping will also create a warm, welcoming environment for all who will enter.

Here’s how you can help:​

• Financial support – This is a small congregation that will need the financial support of donors who are willing to help raise the $25,000 needed for this special restoration project. If you can help financially, you may give through Adventistgiving.org and search Niles Southside SDA, then select Church building/maintenance or click  [Donate Here]

• Roofing removal and installation – A dedicated team of hard workers is necessary to remove and replace the roof quickly so God's house stays dry and beautiful inside and out.

• Landscaping – Bring your green thumbs to help us plant, mulch, and shape a beautiful, peaceful setting for God's church. 

• Siding removal and installation – Together we can transform the exterior of the church to reflect what Jesus can do in each of us, transforming us into new creatures in Christ.

If you have equipment that can make this mission more efficient—nailers, chop saws, extension cords, scaffolding, ladders,  lifts, etc. —please let us know as soon as possible.

What a joy and privilege it is to work hand in hand with God and with one another to prepare a place where people will experience Christ’s love in action. We’ve already seen His hand at work, opening doors and providing resources. We know He will continue to do great things through His people!
